Emunah Elisheva High School
The Elisheva High School in Pardes Chana is an up and coming star! Thanks to Yael Dukow, the new principal of two years, the school and its 418 students are flourishing! Many of the artistic families in the surrounding areas of Pardes Chana were looking for a religious Zionist high school for their daughters that would focus on the arts, Torah and sciences. The teachers have created an atmosphere and a “buzz” in these communities and have given these parents something that they have been searching for within their religious, Zionistic ideology.
Emunah Neve Sarah Herzog High School
Emunah Neve Sarah Herzog is a girls high school with over 450 students. Their goal is enabling each student to reach her highest academic potential while simultaneously building a strong Jewish foundation. Neve Sarah has a dormitory on the campus that can accommodate over 100 students. Today, most of these students are Ethiopian immigrants. Many arrive at the school lacking language skills and cultural customs. The staff make every effort to acclimate the students and give them the tools they need to succeed scholastically and emotionally. The dormitory is also a safe haven for many girls from very low socio- economic backgrounds. There are also a large number of girls from the Emunah Achuzat Sarah Children’s home.
Beit Weinstein High School
Beit Weinstein is a school designated by the Ministry of Education as an educational centre for at risk youth. There are 75 students studying and thriving at the school. Emunah Beit Weinstein is a unique school that takes in girls who have given up or been given up on by others. The school helps them to believe in themselves and their abilities. One of the most successful streams is a special fashion design department through which the girls learn a profession and self expression. The students modelled their own creations at the graduation. The girls come from families in a very low socio economic bracket. They do not have opportunities to experience theatre or museums or places of culture, so the school gives the girls these wonderful experiences.
