Celebrate Their Future With Us!
EMUNAH Israel is so proud of the 27 boys and girls celebrating their B’nai Mitzvah (religious “Coming of Age”) this year. Among them is Simi, a 12-year-old girl whose journey embodies the resilience we cherish. Simi came to us as a young girl, having faced a heartbreaking and abusive home environment. Her parents were no longer able to care for her, and with open arms, EMUNAH became her home. Through the dedicated care of our staff, therapeutic services, and the unwavering love of our EMUNAH Family, Simi is blossoming. As she steps into adulthood, she is not just surviving—she is embracing a future full of hope, faith, and strength.
On this special day, as all our children reach their B’nai Mitzvah, each boy and girl receives a personalized book of Tehillim—Psalms—inscribed with their own name, a precious gift from our generous donors. For the boys, this is also the time they receive their very own pair of Tefillin (Phylaktoris) —sacred tools that they will wear with pride as they begin this next chapter. The ceremony takes place at the Kotel, the Western Wall, where we gather as a community to mark this sacred moment. Surrounded by the walls of Jerusalem, we remember the past, honor the present, and celebrate the bright future of each child. We are so proud of Simi and all our children, as they take these important steps forward!
This could not be done without the ongoing commitment and sponsorship of you—our donors, our friends, and our family. Thank you for being part of this journey!
