The director of the Emunah Neve Landy Children’s Home describes October 7 at the children’s home

NOW IS THE TIME TO BRING HEALING TO EVEN MORE OF THE ISRAELI PEOPLE. PLEASE JOIN US IN THIS GOD-GIVEN MISSION. THANK YOU

Amidst the chaos and tragedy of the horrific, unprecedented Hamas terrorist attacks in Southern Israel on October 7, EMUNAH remains a steadfast pillar of strength, resilience, and healing for the people of Israel.

The attacks, which took place on a sacred religious holiday and Shabbat, resulted in unimaginable destruction and suffering, with over 700 innocent babies, teens, mothers, fathers and elderly savagely murdered in less than two hours and nearly 200 taken hostage, their future uncertain! (Since then, the number killed has grown to over 1,400; 3,400 wounded and maimed, and at least 222 civilian hostages.)

Those in the southern communities of Sderot, Netivot and border Kibbutzim have had their lives shattered; innocent children and adults alike killed and injured in the most brutal circumstances. For decades, EMUNAH has provided vital support and counseling for individuals and families suffering from recurring trauma and horrors of ongoing rocket attacks, arson and shootings in Southern Israel, offering solace and therapy to thousands of families affected by the violence.
